Historical fictional is one of the beloved genres in both films and books. Reading historical books allows the readers to escape their time, era, and life in lieu of a few imagined moments of being in another time period. Stories about turbulent times and tragedies that we only get a glimpse into, in the form of facts and history textbook lessons, can only be felt and understood in their essence, when we get to read novels about them. Known as the Great War or the First World War, WWI spanned from July 1914 to November 1918. An international conflict on a worldwide scale, it involved more than thirty nations. It resulted in millions of causalities and thousands of heart-wrenching stories.
